Taslima Khatun joined as a Lecturer at College of Business Administration (CBA), of IUBAT- International University of Business Agricultural and Technology, Dhaka in 2023. Taslima holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Business with a specialization in Financial Management from Northumbria university, England, UK. She successfully achieved the degree in 2021 with distinction for academic excellences. She started her professional career immediately after graduating from East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. There she completed her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with major in Finance and minor in Marketing back in 2019.

Furthermore, prior to pursuing her master’s she embarked on a journey as a banker, where she applied her financial acumen and garnered valuable experience in the banking industry for almost 2 years. Additionally, immediately after her post-graduation in London, she worked in the retail sector for more than a year. This solid foundation in business and finance laid the groundwork for her career transition from the professional world into academics at IUBAT.

Her research interests till date have been on banking sector of Bangladesh, digital transaction method, corporate social responsibilities, and business & sustainability. Moreover, she participated in a number of programs in the home and abroad, notably Accounting Educators’ Conference 2023, Dhaka organized by The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB).
