Professor Dr Abdur Rab

Dr. Abdur Rab is a Professor of Management and at present is the Vice Chancellor of IUBAT—International University of Business Agriculture and Technology. Earlier, he was the Pro Vice Chancellor and Vice Chancellor of Eastern University, Dhaka Bangladesh. He was a Professor of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in Dhaka University for over 33 years and it’s Director for three years. He was also the Dean of BRAC Business School and Professor of Management in North South University. He served as the Vice President and thereafter as President of the Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA) for three years. Prof. is a member of the Accreditation Council and the Accreditation Award Committee of the South Asian Quality System (SAQS). He is also a member of the Executive Board of AMDISA.

Prof. Rab is a Certified Management Consultant from Australia and a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, Bangladesh (IMCB). He was also its Chairman in 2010-2012. Dr. Rab is a Visiting Professor of International Business Management in the School of Economics and Management of Yunan Normal University, China.
