Dr. Mozaffar A Chowdhury is a Professor of IUBAT CBA. He did an MBA from Bedfordshire University, England, and a BBA from Chittagong University. He also did an MA in Economics from Bowling Green State University, USA, while he was a tutor for macro- and microeconomics, public finance, and managerial economics. He has recently completed a PhD in finance at the UPM School of Business and Economics. His area of teaching is corporate finance, international finance, principles of economics, investment management, and introduction to business, which he has been teaching for the last 13 years (12 years at IUBAT and 1 year at Ohio, USA). Dr Mozaffar also has research interests in financial technology, financial economics, and fiscal and monetary policy. He has contributed research papers to international journals and presented papers at international conferences abroad.

His accomplishments include a full grant from Oxford University, England's Planet under Pressure Conference in London (2012) and a master's in economics from Bowling Green State University, Ohio, USA (2016). He also received acceptance with a full scholarship for a PhD scholarship at Niagara University in the United States and a PhD in business analytics at South Alabama University in the United States, which he later discontinued.

Dr.Mozaffar is an editorial member of South Asian Journal of Management (under AMDISA, India), the founding associate editor of IUBAT Review and editorial member of Journal of Finance, Business and Management Studies, India. He is an Ambassador of S&SE ASIAN UN, Yunnan University, China.
